Calls for Applicants

The Hugo Observatory is publishing three calls for applicants: there are two opportunities for PhD positions, and one for a postdoctoral position.

The SPHERES Research Unit is seeking to sponsor a potential PhD student for a 10-month period in order to allow him/her to develop a PhD proposal that could be submitted for the next FRIA/FNRS calls. This proposal will need to address topics pertaining to environmental changes, migration & displacement, and/or the climate-migration nexus. After the initial period of development, this proposal will be submitted for funding under FRIA/FNRS funding schemes, and could also fit into ongoing research projects in which they could be funded as a doctoral candidate.
