Apollinaire Essèminvo Chokpon
Apollinaire Essèminvo Chokpon is a PhD student in Science at the University of Liège (Belgium) and the University of Abomey-Calavi (Benin) focusing mainly on the study of environmental change and migration. He holds a Master’s Degree in Hydrology from the University of Abomey-Calavi (Benin) as well as a complementary Master in Natural Risk Management at the University of Liege (Belgium). His Master research work at University of Liege was based on the study and management of flood risks in the Benin coastal plain. He studied the problem of floods to understand whether this phenomenon is due to climate change or not. Furthermore, he studied the migration of populations around Lake Nokoué.
