Katarína Cséfalvayová, PhD. is the Vice-Dean for International Development of the Faculty of International Relations at the University of Economics of Bratislava. A specialist of water issues, she has researched extensively on the geopolitical dimensions of natural resources, and water in particular. Within her research, she focuses mainly on international water-sharing in conditions of water scarcity and the conflict potential of water. She also examines the impact of climate change on water security and environmental migration in the context of water scarcity. She is an experienced project coordinator of several national projects for young researchers. She is the laureate of the PIPA programme/award of the Ministry of foreign Affairs of the French republic for 2015. She holds a PhD. in international economic relations from the University of Economics in Bratislava.
